Bridgetown North runs along Glenway Avenue and Bridgetown Road toward the Western Hills grade. The shop is not on Glenway. This car is in the Cheviot bay with the hood up and a front wheel off. The day can stay on Glenway while the shop collects the car, or the driver can bring it to 5700.
Glenway and Bridgetown Road, not Cheviot Road
Bridgetown North is northeast of Bear Car Care. Glenway Avenue and Bridgetown Road are the streets. The Western Hills grade is the drive people mean when they say the hill. The shop itself is at 5700 Cheviot Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45247, which is not on Glenway. A Bridgetown North car gets there by pickup, or by a driver who is already heading toward Cheviot.
Treating this like Cheviot would be wrong. Cheviot customers can see the building from Cheviot Road. Bridgetown North customers should not be told the shop is around the corner.
Grades, heat, and the repairs that follow
Downhill traffic and summer heat are the local pattern. Brakes work harder on a grade than they do on a flat mile of Cheviot Road. Brake repair is the inspection, the pads, the rotors, and the fluid.
Air conditioning fails in the same season those grades are slow. Car AC repair is diagnosis and repair of the system, at the Cheviot Road shop, with the car returned to Bridgetown North.
A transmission that hesitates on the grade stays in the same building. Transmission repair runs from an adjustment to a larger repair. The shop will say which one the car actually needs.

Keep the day on Glenway, or point the car at Cheviot
Bridgetown North does not share a street with the front door. Glenway Avenue and Bridgetown Road stay on their side of the Western Hills grade. When the day is already aimed at Cheviot Road, the driver leaves the car at 5700 between 7:30am and 5:00pm on a weekday. When the day stays on Glenway, the shop collects the car at the Bridgetown North address and let the shop take the hill.
Downhill stops are the local reason to check pads and brake fluid before a flat-road shop would. Slow summer traffic on that climb is a usual time for the cabin to stop cooling. A shift that hangs while the car is climbing belongs in the bay, where the shop can tell an adjustment from a larger repair. The inspection link goes out by text or email once that look is finished.
Vans that cover Bridgetown and Western Hills all week can sit on fleet service, with oil changes handled at the Cheviot Road shop on purpose rather than after a breakdown. There is no second set of bays on Glenway.

Service was great, but the lights were left on in the car, switched from auto to on, and it smelled of smoke in the car. Good thing the battery still had enough to start it! That's never happened before! I didn't see a bill for this service though. Was there a charge?

Came in with a loud exhaust; they very quickly determined thta some of the hardware holding the exhaust together had come loose and fallen off; they fixed the problem within the estimate and in a timely manner; this is my second time having something repaired by them and I will definitely use them for any future problems that may arise

They were patient with me when I had questions and they gave me the information I needed to make informed decisions about what to do with my car. These guys are awesome. EVERY time I have taken any vehicle to them it has been a pleasure. Each repair is quoted and completed in the time frame promised. The ability to pay online and drop off and pickup outside of business hours is a must for me. I am consistently impressed by the service at Bear Car Care. I have been having my cars serviced with Bear Car Care for 5+ years now and won't go anywhere else for my car needs. Most recently (Sept 2023), I have had a frustrating indicator light issue that was tough to resolve. Trevor went above and beyond on each visit explaining the ins and outs of what was happening, including what to expect if the situation wasn't resolved. By far, Andrew and his staff are the most professional, knowledgeable, communicative, and affordable car mechanics in the area.

First time customer and was really WOW'd by Andrew and his team!! They did an amazing job trouble shooting my tire issue; ordered, installed new tires and completed an oil change in one day. Bear Car Care also looked over the rest of my car and made suggestions on items that may need attention in the future. Not once did they push any unnecessary service. I refuse to go anywhere else for service because they are the best! Bear Car Care will come pick up my car while I'm at work and bring it back to me. It's so easy. They also give me live updates on what's going on with my car, including pictures showing me that parts will need to be replaced soon. I have a 1999 SUV, and, although it has more wrong with it, all I wanted done is one window fixed (it would not go up). BTW, I love their drop-off and pick-up options! I chose drop-off, because they're only about 2 blocks from my house. I dropped it off in the late morning and it was done that afternoon! Everyone tells me the labor charge and overall price was very reasonable. Now I can drive the old bomb when it's cold or raining! I'll be going back there if I have other vehicle repair needs!
Always has the best service. They document everything with pictures too and actually only suggest things you need, with proof. It's hard to find an honest mechanic and this is one of the few! Also, the pickup service is a true work of art that makes it super convenient to get everything done!
